ICE INTERACTION:
This
interaction was designed to create an ice block that would allow somebody to control the dye rate. I realized that the dye doesn’t freeze, so making freezing a large ice dye block would only mean a larger space for the dye not to freeze.I placed a circular tub inside the ice cube before it freeze to enable a hole to freeze. A weight had to be placed inside the tub to prevent it from floating. Once it had froze and the thawed slightly to have the tub pulled out, a person would be able to place their fabric into the hole and dye it accordingly. I felt that is was effective and interesting. It think that this could have been pushed further possibly through understanding the dye/ water separation
ratio and creating different shapes.
